( serogroup B (MenB) is the leading cause of invasive meningococcal disease worldwide. The pathogen has a wide range of virulence factors, which are potential vaccine components. Studying the genetic variability of antigens within a population, especially their long-term persistence, is necessary to develop new vaccines and predict the effectiveness of existing ones.

The toxic action of a selective dopaminergic neurotoxin, 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine (MPTP), on D. magna was determined in a broad interval of concentrations (from 2 x 10(-5) to 10(-2) M).

Significant suppression of the specific binding of muscarine antagonists was recorded after chlorophos (2.LD50) intoxication.

Having estimated the rat behaviour in the open-field test, M-cholinolytics were divided into different groups. Haloperidol normalised the disturbance in the behaviour induced by one group M-cholinolytics and had no effect with the other group. The former group seems to have an explicit dopaminergic activity.
