Superapps (ie apps that integrate the features of multiple applications for a more convenient user experience) have become pervasive among Internet users. This case study examines a recent disruption to one such application: KakaoTalk - the most widely used messaging application in South Korea. Specifically, the case study examines a fire incident at the SK C&C data centre, which caused an extended outage for one of South Korea's leading tech companies - Kakao Corp.

An example of this includes the lack of an anatomical corpus cavernosum and crura for cylinder placement and anchoring. Multiple grafting approaches and materials have been utilized to mitigate possible cylinder instability and improve anchoring.

In patients with a urologic malignancy such as prostate cancer, surgical interventions like radical prostatectomy (RP) as well as non-surgical treatments such as radiation therapy can all induce ED. PPS as a treatment for ED has high satisfaction rates in the general population.

We identified 38 patients who underwent dual implantations of an IPP and AUS or urethral sling from 2011 to 2021 at a single tertiary center, 24 via perineal and 14 via penoscrotal incision. All IPP implants were done by a single surgeon.

It has been proposed that caution should be exercised when prescribing ICI to patients currently taking anticoagulants (AC) due to the theoretical increased risk of bleeding, however, there is limited literature describing complication rates of actively anticoagulated patients utilizing ICI.
Aim: We sought to determine whether there was a difference in bleeding and other complications in a cohort of patients using ICI therapy with or without concurrent AC use.
Introduction: Penile traction therapy (PTT) and vacuum erection devices (VED) are nonsurgical conservative treatment options that have been used in the treatment of various urologic and sexual disorders such as Peyronie's Disease (PD) and Erectile Dysfunction (ED). Recently expanded uses for these therapies now include penile lengthening and with surgical interventions such as penile prosthesis surgery (PPS) and radical prostatectomy (RP). These devices can be used as both monotherapy or combination therapy.

We conducted a study to determine whether knowledge of pre-operative stretched penile length measurement influences patient satisfaction. This prospective study consisted of 149 patients undergoing inflatable penile prosthesis (IPP) implantation from August 2017 to December 2019.

The crystallized product adopts the monoclinic 2/ space group. The metal core exhibits a paddle-wheel structure typical for dicopper tetra-acetate units, with triazine and pyridyl nitro-gen atoms from different ligands coordinating to the two axial positions of the paddle wheel in an asymmetric manner.

Data is limited with regard to patient satisfaction with a penile prosthesis following radical prostatectomy/cystoprostatectomy vs patients with erectile dysfunction of other etiologies.
Aim: To examine patient satisfaction with penile prosthesis implantation and determine if a difference in satisfaction exists in post-prostatectomy/cystoprostatectomy patients vs patients with erectile dysfunction of other etiologies.
Background: Buprenorphine is a cornerstone to curbing opioid epidemics, but emerging data suggest that rural pharmacists in the US sometimes refuse to dispense this medication. We conducted a case study to explore buprenorphine dispensing practices in 12 rural Appalachian Kentucky counties, and analyze whether and how they were shaped by features of the rural risk environment.
Methods: In this case study, we conducted one-on-one semi-structured interviews with 14 pharmacists operating 15 pharmacies in these counties to explore buprenorphine dispensing practices and perceived influences on these practices.
The development and homeostasis of multicellular animals requires precise coordination of cell division and differentiation. We performed a genome-wide RNA interference screen in Caenorhabditis elegans to reveal the components of a regulatory network that promotes developmentally programmed cell-cycle quiescence. The 107 identified genes are predicted to constitute regulatory networks that are conserved among higher animals because almost half of the genes are represented by clear human orthologs.
