Unlabelled: The aim of this study was to detect the hypoxic status in adjacent histologically uninvolved gastric mucosa in gastric cancer (GC) patients.
Patients And Methods: 50 naïve patients with primary GC, and one patient with stomach ulcer (gastric mucosa was used as control) were enrolled into the study. The tumor and mucosa samples of stomach (without muscularis and serosa layers) in patients with GC were obtained immediately after operation.

The nature of intrinsic and impurity point defects in lead zirconate titanate (PZT) ceramics has been explored. Using electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) methods, several impurity sites have been identified in the materials, including the Fe(3+)-oxygen vacancy (VO) complex and Pb ions. Both of these centers are incorporated into the PZT lattice.

The present paper sheds light on one of the possible mechanisms of interaction between the typical aromatic dye proflavine and the carbon nanotube surface, namely, π-stacking between aromatic rings of these compounds. To investigate such a complexation, a qualitative analysis was performed by means of ultraviolet visible, infrared, and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy.
