Peliosis hepatis-like blood-filled cavities are frequently observed in the tumors of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). This finding is generally referred to as 'peliotic change' in HCC. However, the clinicopathological features of HCC with peliotic change (PHCC) are not fully understood.
