We report a pseudo-outbreak of Rhizobium radiobacter infections resulting from contamination by a saline dispenser in the microbiology laboratory. Isolates from clinical specimens had identical antimicrobial susceptibilities and electrophoretic fingerprints. The episode resolved with autoclaving of the dispenser.
