Neuronal rhythmogenesis in the spinal cord is correlated with variations in extracellular K levels ([K ] ). Astrocytes play important role in [K ] homeostasis and compute neuronal information. Yet it is unclear how neuronal oscillations are regulated by astrocytic K homeostasis.
