The Space in the Middle: Attitudes of Women's Health and Neonatal Nurses in the United States about Abortion.

Introduction: Despite playing an integral part in sexual and reproductive health care, including abortion care, nurses are rarely the focus of research regarding their attitudes about abortion.

Methods: A sample of 1,820 nurse members of the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses were surveyed about their demographic and professional backgrounds, religious beliefs, and abortion attitudes. Scores on the Abortion Attitudes Scale were analyzed categorically and trichotomized in multinomial regression analyses.

Closing the contraceptive coverage gap: A multipronged approach to advancing reproductive equity in Illinois.

Despite Illinois' progress in the area of reproductive health, Black, Indigenous, and People of Color, young people, and people with low resources face persistent barriers to high-quality contraceptive care and experience inequities in reproductive health outcomes. Illinois Contraceptive Access Now (ICAN!) is a 5-year initiative that aims to improve the quality and coverage of contraceptive care at community health centers statewide. By leveraging state policies, a robust community health infrastructure, digital innovation, and with a focus on sustainability, ICAN! seeks to cut the "contraceptive coverage gap" in Illinois in half by 2025.
