Detecting early ischemic lesions (EIL) in computed tomography (CT) images is crucial for reducing diagnostic time and minimizing neuron loss due to oxygen deprivation. This paper introduces DCTP-Net, a dual-branch network for segmenting acute ischemic stroke lesions in CT images, consisting of a segmentation branch and a prompt-aware branch. The segmentation branch uses an encoder-decoder network as the backbone to identify lesions, where the encoder fuses CT image features with prompt features from the prompt-aware branch.

This study aims to explore the nephrotoxicity of PM exposure and the underlying mechanism. Herein, based on the UK Biobank, it is found that per interquartile range (IQR) increase in PM is associated with a 6% (95% CI: 1%-11%), 7% (95% CI: 3%-11%), 9% (95% CI: 4%-13%), 11% (95% CI: 9%-13%), and 10% (95% CI: 8%-12%) increase in the risk of nephritis, hydronephrosis, kidney stone, acute renal failure, and CKD, respectively.

Objective: The lymphatic system plays an important role in joint diseases. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of ginsenoside Rg1 on lymphatic drainage and accumulation of inflammatory products in the joints.
Methods: Two-month-old transgenic mice that overexpress tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α; TNF-Tg) were used as the animal models.
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronicautoimmune disease, marked by joint swelling and pain, articular synovial hyperplasia, as well as cartilage and bone destruction. Triptolide (TP) is an anti-inflammatory molecule but its use to treat RA is limited due to poor solubility and extremely high toxicity. In this study, by encapsulating TP into a star-shaped amphiphilic block copolymer, POSS-PCL-b-PDMAEMA, we engineered a pH-sensitive TP-loaded nanomedicine (TP@NPs) to simultaneously reduce the toxicity of TP and improve its therapeutic efficacy.
