Both patients were treated with systemic corticosteroids during multiple recurrences, with the addition of various disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs), including biologics, in the case of scleritis, resulting in complications and local adverse events. Both patients were subsequently effectively managed using Janus kinase inhibitors (JAK-i), specifically baricitinib and tofacitinib without relapses of inflammation during the follow-up of more than one year.

The optimized protocol allowed consistent isolation of highly viable cells from tiny fresh synovial biopsies, minimizing the synovial biopsy drop-out rate. The synovium scRNA-seq atlas contained over 100,000 unsorted synovial cells from 25 synovial tissues affected by inflammatory arthritis, including 16 structural, 11 lymphoid, and 15 myeloid cell clusters.

Method: Demographics, clinical characteristics, and PROs at first TNFi (TNFi-1) initiation (baseline) were assessed in patients with PsA, diagnosed by a rheumatologist, with versus without assessment of entheses and between those with versus without enthesitis. Enthesitis scores and resolution frequency were identified at follow-up.
Objective: To evaluate patient-reported outcomes (PROs) after initiation of tumor necrosis factor inhibitor (TNFi) treatment in European real-world patients with psoriatic arthritis (PsA). Further, to investigate PRO remission rates across treatment courses, registries, disease duration, sex, and age at disease onset.
Methods: Visual analog scale or numerical rating scale scores for pain, fatigue, patient global assessment (PtGA), and the Health Assessment Questionnaire-Disability Index (HAQ-DI) from 12,262 patients with PsA initiating a TNFi in 13 registries were pooled.
Background: Individual functions of members of the bromodomain (BRD) and extra-terminal (BET) protein family underlying the anti-inflammatory effects of BET inhibitors in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) are incompletely understood. We examined sex differences in treatment response and retention rates during 24 months of follow-up among patients with PsA initiating their first TNFi.
Methods: Data from patients with PsA across 13 European Spondyloarthritis Research Collaboration Network registries starting their first TNFi were pooled.
Background: In European axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) and psoriatic arthritis (PsA) clinical registries, we aimed to investigate commonalities and differences in (1) set-up, clinical data collection; (2) data availability and completeness; and (3) wording, recall period, and scale used for selected patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs).
Methods: Data was obtained as part of the EuroSpA Research Collaboration Network and consisted of (1) an online survey and follow-up interview, (2) upload of real-world data, and (3) selected PROMs included in the online survey.
Results: Fifteen registries participated, contributing 33,948 patients (axSpA: 21,330 (63%), PsA: 12,618 (37%)).
Superconducting magnets used for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners need to keep temperature gradients minimized in order to retain thermal and operating current margin. We have used 3D finite element analysis (FEA) simulation in COMSOL Multiphysics software that includes both conductive heat transfer and radiative heating to calculate the temperature distribution both along the winding direction and across the cross-section of an MRI segment coil at its equilibrium operating temperature. We have also modelled the evolution of the thermal properties during cool-down from ambient temperature.

The salt type and ionic strength had significant effects on the stability of both MPs and LDH particles individually and the results could be explained by DLVO theory and the Schulze-Hardy rule. However, once stable colloidal dispersions of the individual particles were mixed, heteroaggregation occurred between the oppositely charged MPs and LDH, which was also confirmed by transmission electron microscopy and X-ray scattering.
