Objective: Meckel's diverticulum (MD) is the most common congenital anomaly of the gastrointestinal tract. Although a majority of patients remain asymptomatic, complications may occur in a subset of patients. MD is a rare cause of gastrointestinal bleeding (GIB) in adults.
