Fundatrix and sexual morphs of the Asian apricot aphid, Myzus (Myzus) mumecola (Matsumura, 1917) are described from Serbia with original, clarified slide mounts, and illustrations. The morphological identification of sexual morphs was corroborated through COI barcode sequence analysis. The subgeneric position of this species is discussed and the transfer to subgenus Nectarosiphon is proposed.

Spontaneous regression of testicular germ cell tumors is a well-known phenomenon; however, the precise mechanisms of spontaneous regression are still unknown. Our study aimed to investigate programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) expression in spontaneously regressed testicular germ cell tumors, exploring the link between the immune response and spontaneous regression. From a sample of 356 testicular germ cell tumors, we singled out 5 completely regressed and 6 partially regressed tumors.

The incorporation of polymers into drug delivery vehicles has been shown to be a useful approach to prolong the residence time of drugs in the precorneal tear film and to improve penetration into biological membranes. The main objective of this research was to formulate novel viscous eye drops with ketotifen as the active ingredient, containing the polysaccharides: chitosan (MCH), hydroxypropyl guar gum (HPG) and hyaluronic acid (SH) alone and in combination as functional polymers. This study aimed to explore the risk factors for ABI and carotid artery stenosis and discover which factors simultaneously influence both conditions in T2DM.

Temperature Sensing Properties of Biocompatible Yb/Er-Doped GdF and YF Mesocrystals.

YGdF:Yb/Er mesocrystals with a biocompatible surface and diverse morphological characteristics were successfully synthesized using chitosan-assisted solvothermal processing. Their structural properties, studied using X-ray powder diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning and transmission electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray analysis, were further correlated with the up-conversion emission (λ = 976 nm) recorded in function of temperature. Background And Aim: Surgical treatment of delayed unions and nonunions requires adherence to the principles of mechanical stability, as well as consideration of biological environment. Bone marrow aspirate concentrate (BMAC) provides cellular and growth factor supply acting as an osteoinductive and osteogenic stimulus in bone healing. The aim of the study is to analyze the outcome of delayed unions and nonunions treatment with autologous bone marrow concentrate supplementation at our institution.

Introduction: Due to treatment of end-stage-renal-disease (ESRD), continuous peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) is used in 11% of cases and is associated with several PD-associated infections.
