Structural and electronic trends of optical cycling centers in polyatomic molecules revealed by microwave spectroscopy of MgCCH, CaCCH, and SrCCH.

The unique optical cycling efficiency of alkaline earth metal-ligand molecules has enabled significant advances in polyatomic laser cooling and trapping. Rotational spectroscopy is an ideal tool for probing the molecular properties that underpin optical cycling, thereby elucidating the design principles for expanding the chemical diversity and scope of these platforms for quantum science. We present a comprehensive study of the structure and electronic properties in alkaline earth metal acetylides with high-resolution microwave spectra of 17 isotopologues of MgCCH, CaCCH, and SrCCH in their ground electronic states.

Office Operative Hysteroscopy for the Management of Retained Products of Conception.

The aim of this study was to compare office to conventional operative hysteroscopy for the treatment of retained products of conception (RPOC). This retrospective cohort study included all women who underwent hysteroscopy due to RPOC between January 2018 and December 2019, in a single tertiary medical care center. Exclusion criteria for hysteroscopy included the following: (1) proximity to delivery (up to 3 weeks); (2) hemodynamic instability; (3) active massive bleeding; and (4) genital tract infection.

The effect of COVID-19 pandemic on hospitalizations and disease characteristics of adolescents with anorexia nervosa.

Our aim was to study the rate of pediatric hospitalizations due to anorexia nervosa (AN) during the first year of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic as compared to previous years, with regard to clinical and laboratory parameters. This is a retrospective study in a tertiary pediatric hospital in Israel.

Dynamic esophageal patency assessment: an effective method for prenatally diagnosing esophageal atresia.

Background: Esophageal atresia is a major anomaly with a low prenatal detection rate. We propose a sonographic method termed dynamic esophageal patency assessment.

Objective: This study aimed to assess the feasibility and performance of the dynamic esophageal patency assessment in a high-risk population.

Routine uterine culture swab during cesarean section and its clinical correlations: A retrospective comparative study.

Objectives: Cesarean sections, particularly non-elective cesareans, are an important risk factor for the development of postpartum endometritis, a leading cause of postpartum febrile morbidity. We evaluated the yield of obtaining routine intrauterine culture during elective and non-elective cesarean sections, in the prevention and management of postpartum endometritis.

Study Design: A retrospective comparative study investigating the distribution of uterine cultures obtained immediately after fetus and placenta delivery during cesarean sections performed in a single tertiary hospital during 2017.
