This study evaluated the efficacy of an interactive media-based, computer-delivered depression treatment program (imbPST) compared to a no-treatment control condition (NTC) in a parallel-group, randomized, controlled trial conducted in an outpatient psychiatric research clinic. 45 adult participants with major depressive disorder or dysthymia were randomized to receive either 6 weekly sessions of imbPST or no treatment (No Treatment Control; NTC). The primary outcome measure was the Beck Depression Inventory II (BDI-II).

Primary malignant lymphoma of the parotid gland is often correlated, in literature data, with inflammatory autoimmunological disease of the salivary gland. Finding of blasticlymphoid cells in myoepithelial scialoadenitic areas in a case of parotid disease is described by the Authors. Needle may be useful in detecting these high radio-chemosensitive neoplasms to reduce the occurrence of complications of total parotidectomy.

A case of leiomyoblastoma in the small intestine is illustrated. The patient underwent first and iliac resection and then, 36 months later, a removal of multiple hepatic metastasis. The authors recall as the benign appearance of a leiomyoblastoma sometimes in only apparent, so that it's quite difficult predicting its evolution.
