Aortoenteric fistulae and their multidisciplinary approach.

Aortoenteric fistula is an uncommun life-threatening condition which remains associated with significant morbidity and mortality. It can be primary (aneurysm, neoplasms, radiation therapy, infection) or secondary to vascular prosthesis. Early diagnosis and aggressive surgical treatment are very important to achieve optimal outcomes in these patients.
