The reported shape and size of the vitreous pocket vary depending on the method of visualization. We used spectral domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) to clarify the structure of the normal vitreous pocket. The macular retina of 20 consecutive non-highly myopic eyes of 10 healthy young adults (aged 22-27 years) was examined using spectral SD-OCT.

Methods: Fourteen eyes of 14 patients clinically diagnosed as having MCP or PIC who underwent surgical excision of choroidal neovascularization (CNV) were studied. Immunohistochemical findings of the excised CNV in MCP (eight eyes) and PIC (six eyes) cases were compared.

Purpose: To evaluate an appropriate irradiative condition for selective occlusion of experimental choroidal neovascularization(CNV) with photodynamic therapy (PDT) using ATX-S 10 (Na).
Methods: Experimental CNV was induced in monkey eyes by laser photocoagulation. PDT(dose of irradiative energy 40 to 80J/cm2) was performed after 3.
