Water pollution has become an increasingly serious issue, necessitating the design and development of more effective wastewater treatment methods. Chitosan-based hydrogels, owing to their unique structural and chemical properties, have demonstrated high efficiency in removing contaminants. However, the application remains restricted by the scarcity of effective adsorption sites and limited environmental stability.

In order to improve the catalytic activity of cobalt molybdate (CoMoO), a PDS-activated and UV-vis assisted system was constructed. CoMoO was prepared by coprecipitation and calcination, and characterized by XRD, FTIR, Raman, SEM, TEM, XPS, TGA Zeta potential, BET, and UV-Vis DRS. The results showed that the morphology of the CoMoO nanolumps consisted of stacked nanosheets.

In this work, a microchip-electrophoresis chemiluminescence (MCE-CL)-based immunoassay method was established for the determination of β-subunit of human chorionic gonadotropin (β-HCG). This approach uses MCE-CL assay as a platform. First, the β-HCG antigen (Ag) binds to excess horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-labeled anti-β-HCG antibodies (Ab*) to form an immune complex (Ag-Ab).
