With global protein prices on the rise, lowering protein levels in animal feed, together with balancing diet composition and reducing nitrogen emissions, can both reduce the environmental impact of agriculture and save on feed costs. However, the formulation of an ideal amino acid (AA) composition is crucial for better protein utilization by livestock. This study aimed to investigate the effects of different lysine to methionine ratios on the antioxidant capacity and immune function of the rumen in Tibetan sheep.

Here, based on first-principle calculations, we go beyond this understanding to show that the Q1D transport can also be realized in certain three-dimensional (3D) altermagnetic (AM) metals with a topological nodal net in momentum space but lacking Q1D chain structure in real space, including the existing compounds β-Fe_{2}(PO_{4})O, Co_{2}(PO_{4})O, and LiTi_{2}O_{4}. These materials exhibit an AM ground state and feature an ideal crossed Z^{3} Weyl nodal line in each spin channel around Fermi level, formed by three straight and flat nodal lines traversing the entire Brillouin zone.

This study investigated the effects of dietary resveratrol (RES) and β-Hydroxy-β-methyl butyric acid (HMB) on immune, oxidative, and morphological changes in the livers of Tibetan sheep using transcriptomics and metabolomics. One hundred and twenty male Tibetan lambs of a similar initial weight (15.5 ± 0.

However, the mechanism underlying of RES and HMB on intestinal function remains unclear in ruminant. In this study, supplements of RES and HMB alone or in combination were evaluated as promoters of antioxidant capacity, immune response and barrier function, and modulators of the microbiota and metabolite profiles in the jejunum of Tibetan sheep.

This study aimed to assess the effects of different Lys/Met ratios on the ruminal microbial community and the metabolic profiling in Tibetan sheep using 16S rDNA sequencing and non-target metabolomics. Ninety-two-month-old Tibetan rams (initial weight = 15.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of dietary Lys/Met ratio in a low protein diet (10%, dry matter basis) on the growth performance and hepatic function (antioxidant capacity, immune status, and glycolytic activity) in Tibetan lambs. Ninety two-month-old rams with an average weight of 15.

Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are a new class of endogenous RNA regulating gene expression. However, the regulatory mechanisms of lipid metabolism in yaks involved in circRNAs remain poorly understood. The IMF plays a crucial role in the quality of yak meat, to greatly improve the meat quality.

DNA biosensors offer significant advantages over existing bioanalytical techniques, addressing limitations in sensitivity, selectivity, and limit of detection. Consequently, they have attracted significant attention from researchers worldwide.

In two-dimensional (2D) scale, controllable topological phase transition between a conventional topological quantum state and a higher-order one has been a challenge currently. Herein, based on first-principles, we report 2D metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are ideal choice for realizing such topological phase transition. Taking MOF candidate Pd(CS)as an example, a semimetallic band structure is present at the equilibrium state.

Recently, a novel class of materials has emerged, known as 2D magnetic topological materials, which elegantly combine 2D magnetism and nontrivial topology. This field has garnered increasing interest, especially due to the emergence of several novel magnetic topological states that have been generalized into the 2D scale.

Here, we reveal the magnetic real Chern insulator (MRCI) state in a recently synthesized metal-organic framework material Co(HITP). Its ground state with in-plane ferromagnetic ordering hosts a nontrivial real Chern number, enabled by the symmetry and robustness against spin-orbit coupling.

Two-dimensional (2D) half-metal and topological states have been the current research focus in condensed matter physics. Herein, we report a novel 2D material named EuOBr monolayer, which can simultaneously show 2D half-metal and topological fermions. This material shows a metallic state in the spin-up channel but a large insulating gap of 4.

Topological semimetals with nontrivial band crossing points have attracted widespread interest in recent years. Here, we propose that AB (A = Cr, Mo; B = Si, Ge) compounds are topological semimetals that feature a pair of triple points (TPs) on high-symmetry paths in the absence of spin-orbital coupling (SOC). In particular, the existence of this kind of TP is accompanied by a quadratic nodal line (QNL).

Topological phases in two-dimensional (2D) systems have been attracting tremendous attention since the discovery of graphene. Since the experimental probing could proceed in the whole phonon spectrum, intensive research effort has been devoted to the topological quantum phases in phononic systems. Via first-principles calculations, we predict that a family of 2D hexagonal materials, XH (X = Si, Ge, Sn), hosts ideal linear nodal points (LNPs) and quadratic phononic nodal points (QNPs).

Here we report for the first time that, a ternary compound HfCuP, is an excellent WSM with the coexistence of type-I and type-II Weyl nodes. Our results show that, HfCuP totally contains six pairs of type-I and six pairs of type-II Weyl nodes in the Brillouin zone, all locating at the H-K path.
