The remarkable interaction capabilities of soft robots within various environments have captured substantial attention from researchers. In recent years, bionics has provided a rich inspiration for the design of soft robots. Nevertheless, predicting the locomotion of soft actuators and determining material layouts solely based on intuition or experience remain a formidable challenge.

A finite element model for setting drilling conditions is established. The effect of feed speed and spindle speed on the drilling process was studied. In the test phase, drilling tests were conducted using three different feed speeds (60, 100, and 140 mm/min) and three different spindle speeds (800, 1000, and 1200 rpm).

Aiming at the problems that the temperature in the welding area of friction stir welding (FSW) is difficult to measure and the joints are prone to defects. Hence, it is particularly important to study the material flow in the welding area and improve the welding quality. The temperature of the tool shoulder and the tool pin was monitored by the wireless temperature measuring system.

According to the actual size parameters, the finite element model (FEM) of friction stir welding (FSW) was established, and the FEM was updated by experiments. The FSW of the 2A14-T6 high-strength aluminum alloy was simulated under a reasonable welding process parameter range, and the welding process parameters with good simulation effect were determined. The test was carried out under the same parameters, and the axial force of the FSW tool and temperature of the workpiece measuring point were collected.
