Background: Evidence shows people living with CHB even with a normal ALT (40U/L as threshold) suffer histological disease and there is still little research to evaluate the potential benefit of antiviral benefits in them.
Methods: We retrospectively examined 1352 patients who underwent liver biopsy from 2017 to 2021 and then obtained their 1-year follow-up data to analyze.
Results: ALT levels were categorized into high and low, with thresholds set at >29 for males and >15 for females through Youden's Index.
Autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) is a progressive and chronic inflammatory disease in the liver. MARCO is a surface receptor of macrophage involving in tissue inflammation and immune disorders. Moreover, polyguanine (PolyG) is considered to bind to macrophage receptor with collagenous structure (MARCO).

Oxidative stress triggered by reactive oxygen radicals is a common pathophysiological basis for the pathogenesis of many liver diseases, and ferroptosis is associated with the toxic accumulation of reactive oxygen species. The signaling transduction pathways responsible for iron processing and lipid-peroxidation mechanisms are believed to drive ferroptosis.

Histone deacetylase 3 (HDAC3) takes an important position in regulating the expression of inflammatory genes. Nimbolide (NIB) is a limonoid extracted from the neem tree (Azadirachta indica) that has been found to be effective against many diseases, including cancer, scleroderma, and acute respiratory distress syndrome.
