Genital Self-Image: Associations with Other Domains of Body Image and Sexual Response.

Genital self-image is an emerging aspect of body image relevant to sexual functioning and sexual satisfaction. The aims of the present study were to (1) examine the association between body image and genital self-image with a broad range of sexuality-related outcomes; (2) explore whether genital self-image is a more salient influence on sexual satisfaction and functioning than body image and (3) determine whether this would hold true for both men and women.
