Unlabelled: Access to healthcare poses significant financial hurdles for economically disadvantaged patients especially in developing countries like Nepal, presenting as one of the most prominent obstacles in ensuring their right to proper medical support. In response to this issue, a student-run organization called, 'Our Attempt Towards Health' has established the poor patient fund to assist those in need. The poor patient fund helps economically deprived patients with their treatment costs by providing them financial assistance and at the same time medical students have the opportunity to volunteer, creating an early and empathetic connection with patients.

Fresh produce consumed raw is nutrient-dense but is more susceptible to causing foodborne illness when contaminated water is used in production and consumption. There have been increasing reported incidences of foodborne outbreaks in Nepal linked to fresh produce contamination.

Urbanization, aging, dietary and lifestyle changes, high illiteracy rates, poor access to health facilities, poverty, high costs of drugs, and social stress have contributed to an increase in the prevalence of hypertension in developing countries. Nonetheless, little is known about the comprehensive risk factors associated with prehypertension and hypertension among economically active adult populations of South Asia, such as India, Nepal, and Bangladesh.

Recent work has uncovered new functions of RBPs in invertebrates and plants. Here, we present a methodology for applying a fluorescent chemical probe to characterize RBP binding in plants.

Salt stress is one of the most well-known environmental stresses that accelerate leaf senescence. However, the molecular mechanisms that integrate salt stress signalling with leaf senescence programmes remain elusive.

Despite extensive research, molecular mechanisms underlying the coordination of cell division and differentiation are still fragmentary. Here, we report that ORESARA 15 (ORE15), an Arabidopsis PLANT A/T-RICH SEQUENCE-AND ZINC-BINDING PROTEIN (PLATZ) transcription factor preferentially expressed in the RAM, determines RAM size.

Deep-lying tissues, on the other hand, do not benefit to the same degree. Here we investigate the use of a localized cylindrically symmetric quadruple frequency resonator concatenated with a double frequency resonator to increase the longitudinal field-of-view (FOV) without compromising the spatial-resolution and detection sensitivity.

In magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), acquisition speed is always an important issue. In this paper, we propose a promising technique to achieve parallel MRI (pMRI) on a single-channel spectrometer, using a novel Wireless Amplified Nuclear MR Detector (WAND) for spatial encoding in image reconstruction. For this, a planar structure double frequency WAND is designed and fabricated, where two of its frequencies - 'signal', ω and 'idler', ω are effectively utilized as two separate "channels" for accelerated acquisition.

Chlorophyll (Chl) and Carotenoids (Car) are suggested to correlate with health promoting components like phenolics and antioxidant potential of the plant-part. They also play role against clinical conditions like thalassemia and hemolytic anemia and reduce the risk of some chronic diseases, such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, skin diseases and age-related eye diseases.

Extensive studies on the early stage of ontogenesis of the primary root have revealed that the root apical meristem (RAM) undergoes dynamic structural and organizational changes during early germination. Quiescent center (QC) cells, a group of slowly dividing cells at the center of the stem-cell niche, are vital for proper function and maintenance of the RAM.

This paper demonstrates the enlarged effective range for MRI sensitivity enhancement with a deformable catheter MRI coils integrated with a wirelessly powered amplifier. The expandable balloon wireless amplified nuclear magnetic resonance detector (WAND) is constructed on a copper-clad polyimide film to resonate at the first and second harmonics of the proton Larmor frequency at 7 Tesla. The WAND is then mounted on a balloon catheter system for easy delivery inside confined orifice.

The nanoparticle type and size were varied and the DNA linker sequence was also varied. Two kinds of particles, one with 600 nm barium titanate (BTO) core and 200 nm nickel ferrite (NFO) shell and another with 200 nm BTO core and 50 nm nickel cobalt ferrite (NCFO) shell were prepared.

Although the mechanisms underlying leaf senescence have been intensively elucidated, our knowledge of the interrelationship between early leaf development and senescence is still fragmentary. We isolated the oresara15-1Dominant (ore15-1D) mutant, which had an extended leaf longevity and an enlarged leaf size, from activation-tagged lines of Arabidopsis.

We hypothesize that the ongoing modernization of competitive societies, which we refer to as "capitalism," affects human nature for utilizing common pool resources, thus compromising sustainability. To test this hypothesis, we design and implement a set of dynamic common pool resource games and experiments in the following two types of Nepalese areas: (i) rural (non-capitalistic) and (ii) urban (capitalistic) areas.

Because of the deleterious atmospheric effects of fossil fuels and the uncertainties of future energy supplies, there is a surge of interest to find environmentally friendly alternative energy sources. Hydrogen (H2) has attracted worldwide attention as a secondary energy carrier, since it is the lightest carbon-neutral fuel rich in energy per unit mass and easy to store.

The results demonstrate that the titanium electron stimulated etch rate via the XeF2 precursor can be enhanced up to a factor of 6 times with an intermittent pulsed laser assist. The evolution of the etching process is correlated to in situ stage current measurements and scanning electron micrographs as a function of time.

In this study, we focus on the resolution limits for quasi 2-D single lines synthesized via focused electron-beam-induced direct-write deposition at 5 and 30 keV in a scanning electron microscope. To understand the relevant proximal broadening effects, the substrates were thicker than the beam penetration depth and we used the MeCpPt(IV)Me3 precursor under standard gas injection system conditions. It is shown by experiment and simulation how backscatter electron yields increase during the initial growth stages which broaden the single lines consistent with the backscatter range of the deposited material.

In addition to photoprotection mechanisms, plants have developed an efficient PSII repair mechanism to save themselves from irreversible damage to PSII under abiotic stresses including HL illumination. The phosphorylation/dephosphorylation cycle along with subsequent degradation of photodamaged D1 protein to be replaced by the insertion of a newly synthesized copy of D1 into the PSII complex, is the core function of the PSII repair cycle.

The approach consists of generating a prior distribution (of spins/hydrogen) by inverting experimental nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) data, which is subsequently superimposed on a network of amorphous silicon. The resulting network is then relaxed using a total-energy functional to obtain a stable, low-energy configuration such that the initial spin distribution is minimally perturbed.
