Nivolumab is an anti-programmed death-1 inhibitor used in the treatment of cancer. Nivolumab has recently been approved as an adjuvant treatment for patients with stage IIIB, IIIC, and completely resected stage IV melanoma in the Netherlands. Despite the promising results of nivolumab, there is a wide variation in toxic side effects.
