Losartan is a common first-line antihypertensive medication particularly useful in a select patient population. Common side effects of the drug include headaches, dizziness, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, and anemia. The only well-documented detrimental side effect of losartan is angioedema/anaphylactoid reactions.
