Background: The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 led to the rapid adoption of telemedicine, including virtual visits, to minimize face-to-face contact between clinicians and patients. Family medicine clinics across the nation had to transform how they provided primary care while maintaining the core values of family medicine. Background: Breast cancer is the most common non-skin cancer in women and an increasing number of people are living as breast cancer survivors. While the prognosis of breast cancer continues to improve, the rates of sexual dysfunction and the risk related to cancer treatments have not been well characterized in a population-based study.

Methods: We identified a cohort of 19,709 breast cancer survivors diagnosed between 1997 and 2017 from the Utah Cancer Registry, and 93,389 cancer-free women who were matched by age and birth state from the Utah Population Database.

Background: More people are supplementing conventional medicine with complementary and alternative medicine (CAM), but studies have not compared CAM use between baby boomers (adults born from 1946 to 1964) and the so-called silent generation (born from 1925 to 1945).

Methods: This study compares CAM usage between baby boomers (n = 7734) and the silent generation (n = 4682) through secondary analyses of the 2007 National Health Interview Survey data. The analysis also compares chronic disease and pain status.
