Green practices are now treated as an essential component of organizational element and firms are now exploring ways to incorporate new growth strategies that ensure environmentally friendly methods. The present study focuses on manufacturing industry in China and identify that green HRM practices influence eco-innovation and organization's knowledge-sharing culture. The study also aims to identify whether eco-innovation and knowledge-sharing culture help to build successful green venture and provide indirect path to green HRM and green ventures.

This paper reports on a new strategy for obtaining homogeneous dispersion of grafted quantum dots (QDs) in a photopolymer matrix and their use for the integration of single-photon sources by two-photon polymerization (TPP) with nanoscale precision. The method is based on phase transfer of QDs from organic solvents to an acrylic matrix. The detailed protocol is described, and the corresponding mechanism is investigated and revealed.

BACKGROUND Esophageal invasion in hypopharyngeal cancer is an uncommon lesion and has a poor prognosis. Total pharyngo-laryngo-esophagectomy is the most effective treatment option. Reconstruction of the gastrointestinal tract in the same period of surgery is required.

This paper comprehensively investigates the performance of the D2D underlaying cellular networks where D2D communications are operated concurrently with cellular networks provided that the aggregate interference measured on licensed users is strictly guaranteed. In particular, we derive the outage probability (OP), the average rate, and the amount of fading (AoF) of the D2D networks in closed-form expressions under three distinct power allocation schemes, i.e.

Channel estimation plays a critical role in the system performance of wireless networks. In addition, deep learning has demonstrated significant improvements in enhancing the communication reliability and reducing the computational complexity of 5G-and-beyond networks. Even though least squares (LS) estimation is popularly used to obtain channel estimates due to its low cost without any prior statistical information regarding the channel, this method has relatively high estimation error.

Minor salivary gland cancer is a relatively uncommon disease of head and neck, arising across the upper aerodigestive tract. This is a malignant neoplasm with diverse clinical behaviors and histological types which are prognostically significant. Although complete surgical resection, with adequate free margin, is currently the treatment of choice for locoregional diseases, the optimal treatment is still not standardized.

This paper presents the synthesis of Fe-Co-Ni nanocomposites by chemical precipitation, followed by a reduction process. It was found that the influence of the chemical composition and reduction temperature greatly alters the phase formation, its structures, particle size distribution, and magnetic properties of Fe-Co-Ni nanocomposites. The initial hydroxides of Fe-Co-Ni combinations were prepared by the co-precipitation method from nitrate precursors and precipitated using alkali.

Hybrid plasmonic nano-emitters based on the combination of quantum dot emitters (QD) and plasmonic nanoantennas open up new perspectives in the control of light. However, precise positioning of any active medium at the nanoscale constitutes a challenge. Here, we report on the optimal overlap of antenna's near-field and active medium whose spatial distribution is controlled via a plasmon-triggered 2-photon polymerization of a photosensitive formulation containing QDs.

Hybrid organic-inorganic lead perovskites have a great potential in optoelectronic device applications because of their high stability, narrow band emission, and strong luminescence. Single crystals with few defects are the best candidates to disclose a variety of interesting and important properties for light-emitting devices. Here, we investigate a single-crystalline CHNHPbBr perovskite for its transport and electroluminescence properties.

Organo-lead halide perovskite solar cells represent a revolutionary shift in solar photovoltaics, introducing relatively soft defect containing semiconductors as materials with excellent charge collection for both electrons and holes. Although they are based on the nominally simple cubic perovskite structure, these compounds are in fact very complex. For example, in (CHNH)PbI the dynamics and ensuing structural fluctuations associated with the (CHNH) ions and the interplay with the electronic properties are still not fully understood, despite extensive study.

An amine-appended hierarchical Ca-A zeolite that can selectively capture CO was synthesized and incorporated into inexpensive membrane polymers, in particular polyethylene oxide and Matrimid, to design mixed-matrix membranes with high CO /CH selectivities. Binary mixture permeation testing reveals that amine-appended mesoporous Ca-A is highly effective in improving CO /CH selectivity of polymeric membranes. In particular, the CO /CH selectivity of the polyethylene oxide membrane increases from 15 to 23 by incorporating 20 wt % amine-appended Ca-A zeolite.

To prepare materials with high CO2 adsorption, a series of hierarchical LTA zeolites possessing various mesopore spaces that are decorated with alkylamines was designed and synthesized. The highest CO2 uptake capacity was achieved when (3-aminopropyl)trimethoxysilane (APTMS) was grafted onto the hierarchical LTA zeolite having the largest mesopores. Owing to the contributions of both alkylamine groups grafted onto the mesopore surfaces and active sites in the LTA zeolites, the amount of CO2 that can be taken up on these materials is much higher than for conventional aminosilicas such SBA-15 and MCM-41.

Background: The genus Hoplolaimus Daday, 1905 belongs to the subfamily Hoplolaimine Filipiev, 1934 of family Hoplolaimidae Filipiev, 1934 (Krall 1990). Daday established this genus on a single female of H. tylenchiformis recovered from a mud hole on Banco Island, Paraguay in 1905 (Sher 1963, Krall 1990).

Purpose: To determine whether ovarian response to previous clomifene treatment could influence the selection of the starting dose of gonadotropins in subsequent in vitro fertilization (IVF) or intra uterine insemination (IUI).

Methods: Forty three anovular women who had received clomifene for ovulation induction followed by gonadotropins for IUI or IVF superovulation were reviewed retrospectively. Data on gonadotropin dose were compared between clomifene-resistant patients and clomifene responders.

The objective of this study is to determine the predictors of healing after transmetatarsal amputations (TMA) and factors leading to a higher level of amputation. A total of 33 TMA was performed in 31 patients during the 5 years between January 2000 and Jul 2005. All patients were men between the ages of 44 and 82 years (mean, 68 years).

The predictors of troponin release after percutaneous coronary intervention were prospectively assessed in 405 consecutive patients. Troponin release occurred frequently (27%) and was associated with complications during the procedure, including sapheneous vein graft interventions, multistent use, glycoprotein IIb/IIIa use, and a history of hypercholesterolemia.
