Objective: To compare the clinical results of arthroscopic single and double-bundle ACLs reconstructions.

Methods: From January 2009 to May 2010,45 patients with anterior cruciate ligament tear were divided into two groups. In the first group, the anterior cruciate ligament were anatomical reconstructed with double-bundle semitendinous tendon, and in the second group the anterior cruciate ligaments were anatomical reconstrucated with single bundle semitendinous tendon.

Objective: To explore the intervention effect and the possibly mechanism of the glutamine (Gln) on the opening change of the permeability transition pore (PTP) in the myocardial mitochondrial membrane under the overtraining state.

Methods: 30 SD rats were randomly divided into 3 groups (n = 10): control group (CG group), overtraining group (OG group) and supplementary (Gln) + overtraining group group). Spectrophotometry was used to test the openness of the permeability transition pore in the myocardial mitochondrial membrane.

Article Synopsis
  • The study investigated the use of arthroscopy for treating knee osteoarthritis, focusing on the relationship between imaging results and treatment outcomes.
  • 86 patients (average age 56.3) were evaluated over 12 to 30 months, with their knee cartilage graded using MRI and X-ray methods.
  • Findings showed no correlation between MRI cartilage grades and postoperative outcomes, while X-ray grades did show a significant relationship with patient improvement.

Objective: To analyze the indication of arthroscope by examining the correlations between cartilage injury degree confirmed by MRI and postoperative effect.

Methods: From Aug. 2005 to April 2008, 87 cases with knee osteoarthritis were treated by arthroscopes including 44 males and 43 females, aged from 16 to 67 years (means 46.
