How I Met Your V2X Sensor Data: Analysis of Projection-Based Light Field Visualization for Vehicle-to-Everything Communication Protocols and Use Cases.

The practical usage of V2X communication protocols started emerging in recent years. Data built on sensor information are displayed via onboard units and smart devices. However, perceptually obtaining such data may be counterproductive in terms of visual attention, particularly in the case of safety-related applications.

Augmenter of liver regeneration (ALR) contributes to mitochondrial biogenesis, maintenance and to the physiological operation of mitochondria. The depletion of ALR has been widely studied and had serious consequences on the mitochondrial functions. However the inverse direction, the effect of the depletion of mitochondrial electron transfer chain and mtDNA on ALR expression has not been investigated yet.

In silico aided thoughts on mitochondrial vitamin C transport.

The huge demand of mitochondria as the quantitatively most important sources of ROS in the majority of heterotrophic cells for vitamin C is indisputable. The reduced form of the vitamin, l-ascorbic acid, is imported by an active mechanism requiring two sodium-dependent vitamin C transporters (SVCT1 and SVCT2). The oxidized form, dehydroascorbate is taken up by different members of the GLUT family.

Topical analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties of Oxybaphus nyctagineus: phytochemical characterization of active fractions.

Ethnopharmacological Relevance: Oxybaphus nyctagineus (Michx.) Sweet has traditionally been used by several Native American tribes predominantly as a topical anti-inflammatory and analgesic agent.

Aim Of The Study: To evaluate the antioxidant, analgesic and anti-inflammatory activity of the extracts prepared from the aerial parts of Oxybaphus nyctagineus and to characterize the major chemical constituents of the bioactive extracts.

A holographic collaborative medical visualization system.

We report on our work on the development of a novel holographic display technology, capable of targeting multiple freely moving naked eye viewers, and of a demonstrator, exploiting this technology to provide medical specialists with a truly interactive collaborative 3D environment for diagnostic discussions and/or pre-operative planning.
