The Improving Role of Basalt Fiber on the Sulfate-Chloride Multiple Induced Degradation of Cast-In-Situ Concrete.

In salt lake areas, the cast-in-situ concrete structure has been corroded by the combination of sulfate and chloride for a long time. The incorporation of basalt fiber materials into concrete helps to improve the durability of concrete. In this paper, experiments were conducted to study the corrosion deterioration mechanisms of basalt fiber-reinforced cast-in-situ concrete under sulfate, chloride, and combined attack.

Sensitive detection and imaging of endogenous peroxynitrite using a benzo[d]thiazole derived cyanine probe.

Peroxynitrite is a short-lived endogenous reactive species and plays important roles in many physiological and pathological processes. In this work, we synthesized a near-infrared probe based on the structure of benzothiazole derived cyanine for determination of peroxynitrite (ONOO). The designed probe specifically reacted with ONOO through oxidative cleavage of conjugated C˭C double bonds and generating the non-fluorescent product.

Sensitive and Selective Detection of Antibiotic D-Penicillamine Based on a Dual-Mode Probe of Fluorescent Carbon Dots and Gold Nanoparticles.

This paper reported a dual-mode probe for D-penicillamine on the basis of pH-mediated gold nanoparticles aggregation and fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) from carbon dots. D-penicillamine is a zwitterionic compound and has different forms depending on specific pH ranges. The thiol group of D-penicillamine has high affinity towards the surface of gold nanoparticles and can replace other surface ligands.
