Treatment patterns for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease under the tiered medical system.

China has implemented the "tiered medical services" policy since 2015, while there is a paucity of data evaluating the the current status of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) management under the system. Characteristics and treatments from 11,905 COPD patients in 88 hospitals across different tiers in China were included and analyzed. We assessed the statistical significance of differences by one way analysis of variance (ANOVA) for continuous variables and with the chi-squared test for categorical variables.

Identification of a Risk Signature and Immune Cell Infiltration Based on Extracellular Matrix-Related lncRNAs in Lung Adenocarcinoma.

Lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths globally, with late diagnoses often resulting in poor prognoses. The extracellular matrix (ECM) plays a crucial role in cancer cell processes. Using big data from RNA-seq of LUAD, we aimed to screen ECM-related lncRNAs (long noncoding RNAs) to determine their prognostic significance.

Case report: Infection-associated HPS during pregnancy cured by HLH-94 protocol with induction therapy of ruxolitinib.

Hemophagocytic syndrome (HPS) is a rapidly progressive and highly fatal disease, and is even more complex when it occurs during pregnancy. Currently, the HLH-94 protocol is commonly used for treatment for HPS, with ruxolitinib being mostly used for salvage therapy. Here, we report a pregnant woman who presented with fever, thrombocytopenia, splenomegaly, and subsequently developed into severe pneumonia and multiple organ dysfunction(MODS).
