Article Synopsis
  • - This study presents a new image-based technique called PL-NeRF for reconstructing power transmission lines (PTLs) that addresses issues with distant object clarity and matching difficulties due to the thinness of power lines.
  • - The method utilizes datasets captured by the Flying-walking Power Line Inspection Robot (FPLIR), which takes close-up and continuous images of the lines, enhancing 3D reconstruction performance with metrics indicating high fidelity.
  • - PL-NeRF combines elements like spatial compression and advanced encoding techniques to improve the efficiency and accuracy of reconstructions, paving the way for better automated monitoring and inspection of power transmission systems in the future.

Purpose: To evaluate the effect of low-intensity pulsed ultrasound(LIPUS) combined with triamcinolone acetonide on oral mucosal ulcer in syrian hamster in several ways, including healing time, contents of superoxide dismutase(SOD)and malondialdehyde (MDA).

Methods: Sixty syrian hamsters were randomly divided into 5 groups, including a baseline group (containing a normal baseline group and a model baseline group, n=6) and 4 experimental groups (LIPUS processing and drug use group, LIPUS group, drug group and a normal control group without any processing, n=12). Four experimental groups and model baseline group were given oxygen free radicals to model the oral mucosal ulcer.

Telescopic overdentures supported by the combination of natural teeth and implants have been thought a valuable treatment for the severely compromised partially edentulous patients. But the combination of teeth and implants involves highly complex biomechanical problems. This study is to evaluate biomechanical behaviors of the natural abutment teeth with the treatment of combined tooth-implant supported telescopic crown prostheses in mandible through 3D FEA.
