Article Synopsis
  • The study examines the link between chemotherapy-associated hemoglobin levels and survival outcomes in colorectal cancer (CRC) patients undergoing adjuvant FOLFOX chemotherapy.
  • Researchers found that a hemoglobin level below 90 g/L is a significant predictor of poorer disease-free survival (DFS) and overall survival (OS).
  • The findings suggest that monitoring hemoglobin levels could be important for personalized treatment strategies in CRC, particularly in addressing anemia during chemotherapy.
