Purpose: To evaluate the efficacy of micro-computed tomography(Micro-CT) in removing calcium hydroxide from posterior curved root canals.
Methods: Twenty molar teeth (48 root canals) extracted at the Department of General Dentistry, Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital between December 2023 and February 2024 were collected. After preparing by Ni-TI instruments M3 according to standard root canal treatment procedures, calcium hydroxide was injected into the root canals.

The synthesis of high-ordered mechanically interlocked supramolecular structures is an extremely challenging topic. Only two linear [4]catenanes have been reported so far and there is no defined strategy to obtain cyclic [4]catenane. Herein, two unprecedented cyclic [4]catenanes, 1 and 2, were prepared in high yields.

Herein, a long rod-shaped gallium composite multifunctional material (CP-Au-PEG-FA@BSA@IR780) based on chemotherapy therapy (CT), photothermal therapy (PTT) and photodynamic therapy (PDT) is constructed to increase reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels and Au NP release. CP-Au-PEG-FA@BSA@IR780 has fluorescence localization characteristics and can combine with CT-DNA to cause cancer cell apoptosis.

Methods: Eight molar teeth (24 root canals) extracted from the Department of General Dentistry, Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital from October 2023 to February 2024 were collected. Root canal preparation was instrumented by M3 according to standard root canal treatment procedures, then calcium hydroxide was injected into the root canal.
Background: Gallium (III) metal-organic complexes have been shown to have the ability to inhibit tumor growth, but the poor water solubility of many of the complexes precludes further application. The use of materials with high biocompatibility as drug delivery carriers for metal-organic complexes to enhance the bioavailability of the drug is a feasible approach.
Methods: Here, we modified the ligands of gallium 8-hydroxyquinolinate complex with good clinical anticancer activity by replacing the 8-hydroxyquinoline ligands with 5-bromo-8-hydroxyquinoline (HBrQ), and the resulting Ga(III) + HBrQ complex had poor water solubility.

An anion double-walled metal-organic framework [CoLi(BTC)(DMF)(HO)·(CH)N] () based on heterobimetallic Li and Co ions was successfully constructed. Utilizing selective destruction and formation of Co-O/Co-N bonds in the metal chains, [CoLi(BTC)(py)(HO)·(CH)N] () and [CoLi(BTC)(pi)(HO)·(CH)N] () with the same skeleton but distinct pore structures can be surprisingly obtained. Additionally, compounds and can be transformed into [CoLi(BTC)(HO)·(CH)N] () by soaking them in an ethanol solution.

Fresh fecal samples were collected from 30 active UC patients and 10 healthy controls. The intestinal flora DNA from each sample was extracted and 16S rRNA gene sequencing was carried out using HiSeq platform to identify the intestinal flora in fecal samples.
