Germinal matrix-intraventricular hemorrhage (GM-IVH) is a detrimental neurological complication that occurs in preterm infants, especially in babies born before 32 weeks of gestation and in those with a very low birth weight. GM-IVH is defined as a rupture of the immature and fragile capillaries located in the subependymal germinal matrix zone of the preterm infant brain, and it can lead to detrimental neurological sequelae such as posthemorrhagic hydrocephalus (PHH), cerebral palsy, and other cognitive impairments. PHH following GM-IVH is difficult to treat in the clinic, and no levelone strategies have been recommended to pediatric neurosurgeons.

Their structures were determined by extensive spectroscopic methods including 1D and 2D NMR, HR-ESI-MS and chemical derivatization method. Compound 1 represents a rare example of naturally occurring selaginellin with an alkynylphenol-trimmed skeleton.

Although there was recognition that probucol in treating restenosis after percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty, the efficacy of probucol on restenosis after stent-implantation is controversial. So this meta-analysis was conducted to investigate the association between probucol and late restenosis.

In the last century, SAP has been used as a diagnostic marker in amyloidosis diagnosis and patient follow-up. SAP has been thought to have potential for treating and curing amyloidosis and fibrosis diseases.

Methods: We measured HDL subfraction cholesterol efflux capacity, inflammatory index (HII), paraoxonase-1 (PON1) activity, and lipid hydroperoxide (LOOH) levels in both male age-matched controls and the ACS group (n = 40/group). Additionally, proteomic analysis was used to monitor changes in the HDL subfraction proteome between controls and ACS subjects.

Objective: To assess comorbidities and functional impairments in children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and to investigate their relationship with the core symptoms (attention deficit and hyperactivity) of ADHD.
Methods: A total of 319 children with suspected ADHD were included in the study. The Vanderbilt ADHD Parent Rating Scale (VADPRS) was completed by their parents.

Objective: To study the value of the Vanderbilt ADHD Parent Rating Scale (VADPRS) in the diagnosis of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Methods: VADPRS were completed by parents of 319 children with suspected ADHD. The children were then evaluated by a specialist based on the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 4th edition (DSM-IV) and 196 of them were diagnosed with ADHD.
