The development of small molecule-based drugs emerged as a cornerstone of modern drug discovery. Structural activity relationship (SAR) studies in medicinal chemistry are crucial for lead optimization, where a subtle change in the substituent can significantly alter its binding affinity with the biological target. Herein, a highly efficient single-atom substitution (SAS) approach has been developed, where sulfur for oxygen strategy is utilized as a powerful molecular editing technique to identify N-vinyl Indole-thiobarbituric acid (6a) as a novel small molecule-based scaffold with tunable photophysical and antiproliferative activities.

Methods: This in vitro study involved 45 extracted human teeth (central and lateral incisors), randomly assigned to three groups (n=15 each): Group I (nano-bristle), Group II (ultra-soft bristle), and Group III (soft bristle). Each specimen underwent 10,000 brushing cycles with a standardized 2 N force to simulate one year of brushing.
Purpose: Acrylic dentures fabricated using polymethyl methacrylate are subjected to either intraoral fatigue stress or extraoral impact stress, eventually forming microcracks and fractures. This limitation should be overcome by either modification in the acrylic resin material or in polymerization techniques. This study compares the impact strength and flexural strength of high-impact resin to conventional resin in short- and long-heat polymerization settings.

Synthesized TiO nanoparticles optical, functional, structural, and morphology properties were analyzed by UV-visible spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX). SEM analysis confirmed the spherical shape of the TiO nanoparticles were observed in various sizes, viz.

Materials And Methods: Using a qualitative descriptive design, we conducted semi-structured interviews with 15 physiotherapists across India. Participants were selected using purposive sampling to ensure diversity in experience and setting.
The principal constituent of liquorice root () is glycyrrhizin, a triterpene saponin that is approximately many times sweeter than sucrose, the main active component. This study aimed to investigate the dietary liquorice root powder (LRP) on production performance, serum biochemical, gut health and carcass characteristics of Kadaknath (KN) birds as replacement of antibiotic growth promoter. Day-old Kadaknath chicks (n = 240) with uniform body weight were selected randomly and divided into six different treatments, each one with five replicates and eight birds per replicate, and raised in battery brooder cages for 15 weeks.

However, blood transfusion safety can be improved by identifying these adverse reactions and taking appropriate interventions. Therefore, in this study, we aimed to determine the frequency and type of transfusion reactions occurring among in-patients at our hospital, as reported to our institute's blood center.

A metabolic condition known as diabetes (type-2) is characterized by high blood sugar levels in comparison to normal Bilosomes (BLs) containing Dapagliflozin (Dapa) were formulated, optimized, and tested for oral therapeutic efficacy in the current investigation. Used the Box Behnken design to optimize the Dapa-BLs, formulated via a thin-film hydration technique.

This study presents a series of 31 cases of quadrigeminal cistern arachnoid cysts, constituting the most extensive series reported to date.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 31 patients diagnosed with quadrigeminal cistern arachnoid cysts, focusing on clinical presentation, demographics, treatment approaches, and outcomes.
Liver cancer is one of the most prevalent malignant diseases in humans and the second leading cause of cancer-related mortality globally. Angiopteris helferiana was mentioned as a possible anticancer herb according to ethnomedicinal applications. However, the molecular docking and chemical profiling of the bioactive phytoconstituents accountable for the reported anticancer action still require research.

Here, we discuss a rare and to our knowledge, the first case of an atypical Van der Knaap's disease in a 6-year-old boy who presented with motor difficulties, developmental delay, cognitive impairment, seizures. The objective of this report is to highlight its unusual findings on MRI including internal capsule, brainstem, cerebellum involvement; subependymal nodular heterotopia, subependymal cysts, cortical laminar necrosis along with typical findings of megalencephalic leukoencephalopathy and subcortical cysts. The study also underscores the clinical implications of this complex pathology, with emphasis on comprehensive neuroradiological evaluation for atypical presentations to guide better diagnostic and management outcomes.
