PyDesigner is a Python-based software package based on the original Diffusion parameter EStImation with Gibbs and NoisE Removal (DESIGNER) pipeline (Dv1) for dMRI preprocessing and tensor estimation. This software is openly provided for non-commercial research and may not be used for clinical care. PyDesigner combines tools from FSL and MRtrix3 to perform denoising, Gibbs ringing correction, eddy current motion correction, brain masking, image smoothing, and Rician bias correction to optimize the estimation of multiple diffusion measures.

Introduction: Receptor-interacting protein kinase 1 (RIPK1), a key mediator of inflammation through necroptosis and proinflammatory cytokine production, may play a role in the pathogenesis of immune-mediated inflammatory diseases such as chronic plaque psoriasis. An experimental medicine study of RIPK1 inhibition with GSK2982772 immediate-release formulation at doses up to 60 mg three times daily in mild to moderate plaque psoriasis indicated that efficacy may be improved with higher trough concentrations of GSK2982772.

Efficient exciton diffusion and charge transport play a vital role in advancing the power conversion efficiency (PCE) of organic solar cells (OSCs). Here, a facile strategy is presented to simultaneously enhance exciton/charge transport of the widely studied PM6:Y6-based OSCs by employing highly emissive trans-bis(dimesitylboron)stilbene (BBS) as a solid additive. BBS transforms the emissive sites from a more H-type aggregate into a more J-type aggregate, which benefits the resonance energy transfer for PM6 exciton diffusion and energy transfer from PM6 to Y6.

Wildfires in forested watersheds dramatically alter stored and labile soil organic matter (SOM) pools and the export of dissolved organic matter (DOM). Ecosystem recovery after wildfires depends on soil microbial communities and revegetation and therefore is limited by the availability of nutrients, such as nitrogen-containing and labile, water-soluble compounds.
