Objective: To demonstrate the effectiveness of medical-grade stainless steel Water Works Douching Device for treating abnormal vaginal odor in comparison with a commercially available over-the-counter plastic douching device.

Materials And Methods: In a multicenter study, 140 women with perceived vaginal odor with no vaginal infection were randomized to either Water Works or control group in a 1:1 ratio and were douched daily for 4 weeks. A visual analog scale (VAS) was used to assess the intensity of vaginal odor.

There is limited safety information about ferric carboxymaltose (FCM), a new intravenous iron preparation. This randomized, crossover study compared the safety and tolerability of double-blinded intravenous doses of FCM or placebo in patients with iron deficiency anemia. Subjects (559) with iron deficiency anemia received a dose of either FCM (15 mg/kg, maximum 1000 mg) over 15 minutes or placebo on day 0.
