Objective: To determine whether the process of oocyte vitrification affects oocyte viability in in vitro fertilization (IVF) patients between 30 and 39 years of age.

Design: Prospective controlled study.

Setting: Private IVF practice.

Lysed cell removal promotes frozen-thawed embryo development.

Objective: To develop a mouse model to investigate the possible causes for increased success rates when lysed cells are removed from thawed embryos.

Design: Experimental study.
