Purpose: To characterize the diffusion time (Δ) dependence of apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) and intravoxel incoherent motion-related parameters in the human kidney at 3 T.
Methods: Sixteen healthy volunteers underwent an MRI examination at 3 T including diffusion-weighted imaging at different Δ ranging from 24.1 to 104.
Platinum and palladium nanoparticles were successfully deposited on tunicate cellulose via the photodeposition or microemulsion deposition method. Evenly distributed, small and narrow-sized particles in the range of 2-3 nm were obtained for microemulsion-prepared cellulose catalysts. The photodeposition method led to larger particle sizes, broader size distribution, and occasional agglomerations.

Quality of life (QoL) is lower in adults on the autism spectrum (AS) compared with typically developing (TD) adults. In this context, recent studies have examined the role of depression and anxiety in reducing QoL in AS adults. Methods: The robustness of IDEAL was investigated using simulated DW-MRI data corrupted with different levels of Rician noise. Subsequently, the performance of the proposed method was tested by fitting bi- and triexponential IVIM model to in vivo renal DWI data acquired on a clinical 3 Tesla MRI scanner and compared to conventional approaches (fixed D* and segmented fitting).
Photodeposition is a specific method for depositing metallic co-catalysts onto photocatalysts and was applied for immobilizing platinum nanoparticles onto cellulose, a photocatalytically inactive biopolymer. The obtained Pt@cellulose catalysts show narrow and well-dispersed nanoparticles with average sizes between 2 and 5 nm, whereby loading, size and distribution depend on the preparation conditions. The catalysts were investigated for the hydrogenation of -nitrophenol transfer hydrogenation using sodium borohydride as the hydrogen source, and the reaction rate constant was determined using the pseudo-first-order reaction rate law.
