Purpose: To retrospectively identify clinical, pathologic, or imaging factors predictive of local relapse (LR) after preoperative radiotherapy (RT) for soft tissue sarcomas (STS).
Methods And Materials: This is a retrospective multicenter study of patients who underwent preoperative RT and surgery for limb or trunk wall STS between 2007 and 2018 in French Sarcoma Group centers and were enrolled in the "Conticabase". Patterns of LR were investigated taking into account the multimodal response after preoperative RT.
Background: The treatment of stage I-III HPV+ oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (HPV-OPSCC) is based on either surgery ± adjuvant therapy or exclusive radio±chemotherapy. We sought to compare these two therapeutic strategies in terms of efficacy, tolerance and quality of life (QoL).
Methods: Patients treated for stage I-III HPV-OPSCC from 2010 to 2021 in 3 academic centers were included and sorted according to the treatment strategy: surgery or exclusive radio±chemotherapy.
Background: Immunotherapy targeting the PD-1/PD-L1 pathway is a standard of care in a number of metastatic malignancies, but less than a fifth of patients are expected to respond to ICIs (Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors). In a clinical trial, combining the anti-TIGIT (T cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains) Mab (monoclonal antibody) tiragolumab with atezolizumab improved outcomes in non-small cell lung cancer. In preclinical models, SBRT (Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy) could increase expression levels of the inhibitory co-receptors TIGIT and PD-L1.

Background: The synergistic effect of chemoradiation (CRT) has been previously demonstrated in several cancer types. Here, we investigated the systemic immune effects of CRT in patients with lung or head and neck cancer.
Materials And Methods: Peripheral blood mononuclear cells were collected at baseline and 1 month after treatment from blood samples of 29 patients treated with cisplatin-based chemoradiotherapy for lung or head and neck cancer.
Introduction: Up to 50% of soft tissue sarcoma (STS) patients develop metastases in the course of their disease. Cytotoxic therapy is a standard treatment in this setting but yields average tumour response rates of 25% at first line and ≤10% at later lines. In oligometastatic stage, stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) allows reaching high control rates at treated sites (≥80%) and is potentially equally effective to surgery in term of overall survival.

Patients And Methods: Between March 2012 and March 2017, 32 consecutive patients (12 women, 20 men) treated in a single center were retrospectively included in this study. Grade III gliomas were diagnosed in 14 patients and grade IV in 18 patients.
The treatment of local recurrence of a previously irradiated cancer or a second cancer arising in-field remains challenging. Ultimately, the objective of salvage therapy is to control disease while ensuring minimal collateral damage, thereby optimizing both cancer and toxicity outcomes. Reirradiation has historically been associated with unacceptable toxicity and a limited benefit.

Purpose: Stereotactic body radiotherapy to vertebral column remains uncommon practice and only relevant in selected group of patients. The main objective of the study was to describe the current state of medical practices of stereotactic body radiotherapy to vertebral column in France in 2016 and to assess the diversity of practices to identify areas for improvement and establish a common database set for this technique.
Materials And Methods: A questionnaire was written with contribution of a medical physicist, a radiation oncologist, an information technologist and a radiotherapy resident.
