The 1° Encontro Latino-Americano de IA em Saúde (1st Latin American Meeting on AI in Health) was held during the 2022 Jornada Paulista de Radiologia, the annual radiology meeting in the state of São Paulo. The event was created to foster discussion among Latin American countries about the complexity, challenges, and opportunities in developing and using artificial intelligence (AI) in those countries. Technological improvements in AI have created high expectations in health care.

Parkinson's disease is the second most common neurodegenerative disease, with an estimated prevalence of 41/100,000 individuals affected aged between 40 and 49 years old and 1,900/100,000 aged 80 and over. Based on the essentiality of ascertaining which wearable devices have clinical literary evidence and with the purpose of analyzing the information revealed by such technologies, we conducted this scientific article of integrative review. It is an integrative review, whose main objective is to carry out a summary of the state of the art of wearable devices used in patients with Parkinson's disease.

Incorporation of new drugs for treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) has led to a clear improvement in overall patient survival, the added cost of treatment, however, is a major concern worldwide. The cost-effectiveness of using a modified FLOX (mFLOX) regimen for treating mCRC patients was delineated. In this study, 82 consecutive mCRC patients were treated with leucovorin (LV) at 20 mg/m in combination with weekly bolus of 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) (500 mg/m) for 6 consecutive weeks and oxaliplatin (85 mg/m) at weeks 1, 3 and 5, every 8 weeks.
