Monkeypox is an infectious disease caused by the monkeypox virus (MPXV), a member of the Orthopoxvirus genus closely related to smallpox. The structure of the A42R profilin-like protein is the first and only available structure among MPXV proteins. Biochemical studies of A42R were conducted in the 1990s and later work also analyzed the protein's function in viral replication in cells.

Ribonucleic acids (RNAs), including the messenger RNA (mRNA), transfer RNA (tRNA), and ribosomal RNA (rRNA), play important roles in living organisms and viruses. In recent years, the RNA-based technologies including the RNAs inhibiting other RNA activities, the RNAs targeting proteins, the RNAs reprograming genetic information, and the RNAs encoding therapeutical proteins, are useful methods to apply in prophylactic and therapeutic vaccines. In this review, we summarize and highlight the current application of the RNA therapeutics, especially on mRNA vaccines which have potential for prevention and treatment against human and animal infectious diseases.

Autoimmune limbic encephalitis (LE) is a rare, but devastating complication of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). There is currently limited evidence describing the risk factors, laboratory features, and underlying mechanisms of this neurologic adverse event. We retrospectively reviewed available clinical, imaging, and laboratory data from adult patients with hematological malignancies who underwent haploidentical HSCT with post-transplant cyclophosphamide (PTCy) at Chungnam National University Hospital from June 2016 to May 2020.

New phosphorus-containing, five-membered P,P,P and P,N,P heterocycles were synthesized and fully characterized. The P,P,P heterocycles, 1,2,3-triphospholanes, can be synthesized by two different facile pathways, whereas the P,N,P compound, a 1-aza-2,5-diphospholane, can only be obtained with silylamine.
