The objective of this retrospective study using National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey data was to evaluate the influence of sociodemographic factors on the series initiation and completion of the HPV vaccine from 2011 to 2020. Methodology The chi-square test was used to examine the statistical significance of the association between categorical variables and receipt of the HPV vaccine.

Children without an established medical home, from low-income households, and who are uninsured have historically shown to be prone to dental caries and attribute to higher health care costs. Early recognition of these risk factors by a pediatrician helps prevent the development of medical and psychosocial complications in the child.
