Involvement of female genital track (FGT) by diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) represents an extremely rare diagnosis. Especially data regarding early-stage disease (i.e.

These proved to be very powerful prognosticators, able to revolutionize the traditional Ann Arbor four-stage lymphoma staging. During the 17° Lugano meeting on lymphoma, one main question was asked to experts attending a closed workshop dedicated to new metrics for lymphoma diagnosis, staging, restaging, and prognostication: "Should the traditional 4-stage anatomic staging system be simplified to a more clinically relevant 2-stage system (e.

A 24-year-old man with classical Hodgkin lymphoma was lost to follow-up after metabolic complete remission (mCR). He presented 4 years later with B-symptoms and impaired clinical condition. Relapsed classical Hodgkin lymphoma was diagnosed.

We analyzed 915 patients with HL, who were treated with ABVD or equivalent regimens with or without radiotherapy. Sβm levels were measured by a radioimmunoassay (upper normal limit 2.

Patients And Methods: To elucidate the full spectrum of genomic alterations, samples from 340 patients with previously untreated PMBCL were investigated by whole-genome (n = 20), whole-exome (n = 78), and targeted (n = 308) sequencing.
Background: No established standard of care exists for relapsed/refractory (RR) follicular lymphoma (FL) after ≥2 prior therapies. We conducted indirect treatment comparisons (ITCs) to compare the efficacy and tolerability of mosunetuzumab with those of available treatments used in this setting.
Methods: A systematic literature review (SLR) and subsequent feasibility assessments were conducted to identify the most suitable comparator studies in terms of design, available endpoints and populations.
Non-Hodgkin lymphoma's (NHL) incidence is rising over time, and B cell lymphomas comprise the majority of lymphomas. The phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K)/v-akt murine thymoma viral oncogene homologue 1 (Akt)/mammalian target of the rapamycin (mTOR) signaling pathway plays a critical role in a variety of cellular processes, such as cell proliferation and survival. Its role in lymphomagenesis is confirmed in many different types of B cell lymphomas.

Combined-modality schedules (ABVD plus radiotherapy) in early-stage disease, along with treatment intensity adaptation to early metabolic response assessed by PET/CT in advanced stage HL, have been the cornerstones of risk stratification and treatment decision-making, minimizing treatment-related complications while keeping efficacy. Nevertheless, a non-negligible number of patients are primary refractory or relapse after front-line treatment.

After the introduction of tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), CML patients have a median survival comparable to general population and accelerated/blast crisis are rarely encountered. Most CML patients (80%) transform into acute myeloid leukemia and the rest into B-ALL.

Previous analyses of the phase 2 KEYNOTE-087 (NCT02453594) trial of pembrolizumab monotherapy demonstrated effective antitumor activity with acceptable safety in patients with relapsed or refractory (R/R) classical Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL). However, long-term response durability and outcome of patients who receive a second course after treatment discontinuation after complete response (CR) remain of clinical interest. We present KEYNOTE-087 data after >5 years of median follow-up.

Central nervous system (CNS) involvement is rare in primary mediastinal large B-cell lymphoma (PMLBCL). We aimed to evaluate the incidence of CNS relapse as first treatment failure event and the effect of the induction chemotherapy regimen, central nervous system - international prognostic index (CNS-IPI) and other clinical and laboratory variables on the risk of CNS relapse in 564 PMLBCL patients treated with immunochemotherapy. Only 17 patients (3.

Inflammatory markers are elevated in patients with Hodgkin lymphoma (HL), and yet ongoing infection rarely coexists at diagnosis. PCT levels might be helpful in differentiating bacterial from disease-related inflammation.
