The McCune-Albright Syndrome (MAS) is a sporadic rare disease first described in 1936 by McCune and separately by Albright. MAS is characterized by a triad of physical signs: café-au-lait spots, polyostotic fibrous dysplasia and autonomous endocrine hyperfunction.
