Water-based coating has gained much attention globally due to environmental issues. This work aims to develop a waterborne epoxy coating incorporated with modified natural rubber (NR) latex for improved performance. For this purpose, the NR latex was modified into three types of low molecular weight epoxidized natural rubber (LENR) latex.

The sensor was prepared from commercially available tapioca pearls with purple sweet potato as a natural colorant by using a similar procedure as to prepare "Thai Saku dessert". A novel concept of using five tapioca pearls stacked in a pipette tip was proposed to observe the color change of the pearls by bead counting approach.

Many hydrogen-evolving photocatalysts are active in the ultraviolet range, but ultraviolet light accounts for only 3% of the energy available in the solar spectrum at ground level. Solid-state crystalline photocatalysts have light absorption profiles that are a discrete function of their crystalline phase and that are not always tunable.

In particular, materials must be tolerant to the water vapor and to the acidic impurities that are present in gas streams produced by using fossil fuels to generate electricity. We show that a porous organic polymer has excellent CO2 capacity and high CO2 selectivity under conditions relevant to precombustion CO2 capture.
