These sectors cover areas of Eastern Harbour, Abu Qir Bay, Rosetta, Abo Khashaba, Burullus, Baltim, Damietta, and Manzala. The assessment process is based on determining the eight metals' (Fe, Cu, Zn, Mn, Ni, Co, Pb, and Cd) content, followed by applying different pollution and ecological risk indices such as enrichment factor (EF), geoaccumulation factor (I), contamination factor (CF), Pollution Load Index (PLI), degree of contamination (C), Nemerow Integrated Pollution Index (NIPI), and Potential Ecological Risk Index (PERI).

In this article, we report the case of an 87-year-old man who presented to our department with swelling in the left parotid region. Red blood cell distribution width (RDW) is reported as a novel marker of cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk. We aimed to investigate the correlation of RDW level with the severity of Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome (OSAS) defined with the apnea-hypopnea index (AHI) and to study the relationship between RDW and CVD in OSAS.

A prospective study including 71 patients who underwent transoral microsurgery for benign or malignant lesions of the larynx was performed in our department from January 2021 to November 2021. Physical assessment included the Mallampati score, weight, height, body mass index and measurements of seven parameters in the cervical region.

Here we report Mansoura University Vertebrate Paleontology Center (MUVP) specimen 477, an isolated, well-preserved tenth cervical vertebra of a medium-sized abelisaurid from the Bahariya Formation. The new vertebra shows affinities with those of other Upper Cretaceous abelisaurids from Madagascar and South America, such as , , and a generically indeterminate Patagonian specimen (Museo Padre Molina specimen 99).

Objectives: The main objective of this study was to compare the wound infiltration (peritonsillar fossa) of magnesium sulphate combined with bupivacaine, bupivacaine alone and saline solution on post-tonsillectomy pain in children. The accessory objectives were to evaluate the effect of magnesium sulphate infiltration on prevention of laryngospasm and occurrence of nausea/vomiting.
Methods: This study is a prospective; double blinded and randomized clinical trial.
True thymic hyperplasia results from stressful situations such as chemotherapy. It commonly presents as an anterior mediastinal mass; cervical location is exceptional. Here we report a case of a cervical true thymic hyperplasia in a 12-year-old girl who had a Hodgkin lymphoma treated by radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

Unlabelled: Scarpa's fascia preservation plays a great role in decreasing the volume of wound drainage and reducing seroma after abdominoplasty. This study aimed to assess the role of Scarpa's fascia preservation in patients with ventral hernias associated with abdominal wall deformity who underwent concomitant hernio-abdominoplasty in terms of early and late postoperative outcome and quality of life.
Methods: Patients with ventral hernia and abdominal wall deformity underwent combined hernio-abdominoplasty.
