Objective: Restless legs syndrome (RLS) is one of the commonest neurologic diseases. Along with sensory and motor symptoms, cognitive impairment and psychiatric features can be seen with RLS. The present study, was planned to look for evidence of cognitive impairment by evaluating facial emotion recognition (FER) in patients with RLS.

Methods: Fifty patients with BD, 40 FDRs of BD, and 50 healthy controls(HCs) were included. OCT was performed to measure peripapillary retinal nerve fiber layer(RNFL), ganglion cell layer(GCL), inner plexiform layer(IPL), central macular, and minimum foveal thicknesses(CMT and MFT), choroidal thickness(ChT).
Researches have recently shifted from functional/structural imaging studies to functional connectivity (FC) studies in major depressive disorder (MDD). We aimed to compare treatment response of two treatment groups before and after treatment, in terms of both with psychiatric evaluation scales and resting-state functional connectivity (RSFC) changes in order to objectively demonstrate the possible contribution of the non-dominant hand-writing exercise (NHE) effect on depression treatment. A total of 26 patients who were right-handed women with similar sociodemographic characteristics were enrolled.

Objective: It was aimed in this study to translate the 19-item Trypophobia Questionnaire (TQ) to Turkish and determine its psychometric reliability and validity.
Method: The study included 154 volunteers consisting of the students and employees of Bezmialem Vakıf University, and their family members. The Sociodemographic Questionnaire prepared by the researchers, the Turkish version of the Structured Clinical Interview for axis-1 disorders (SCID-I) of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM- IV-TR), the Turkish versions of the Disgust Sensitivity Scale-Revised Form (DS-R-TR) and the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A-TR) were used.
Introduction: A large number of studies using different neuroimaging methods showed various structural changes both in patients and their unaffected first-degree relatives (FDRs) over the past years. Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is a relatively new, non-invasive imaging method used to obtain high-resolution cross-sectional images of the retina. A growing body of evidence reports thinning of retinal layers in patients with schizophrenia which is considered as a proxy for CNS alterations.

Psychoactive drugs may cause an increase or decrease in saliva secretion. Antidepressant drugs, especially tricyclic antidepressants and less often serotonin reuptake inhibitors, are often associated with a decrease in salivation and the complaint of dry mouth.
