A 41-year-old woman presented with a left breast mass for which mammography was performed. Mammogram revealed a suspicious BI-RADS 4, palpable left breast mass with associated nipple retraction. As malignancy was suspected, the patient underwent breast MRI and 18F-FDG PET/CT for staging.

Postpartum Readmission after Unscheduled Cesarean Delivery in Patients with Class 3 Obesity.

Objective:  This study aimed to identify risk factors for postpartum readmission (PPR) in class 3 obese patients undergoing unscheduled cesarean deliveries.

Study Design:  Retrospective cohort study of patients with a body mass index (BMI) of ≥40 kg/m undergoing unscheduled cesarean delivery from 2017 to 2020 comparing patients with and without PPR (unexpected admission, emergency room/overnight observation visit, unscheduled outpatient visit, or ambulatory surgery within 30 days). Medical history, operative data, and postpartum outcomes were compared between the cohorts.

Allenyl Thianthrenium Salt: A Bench-Stable C Synthon for Annulation and Cross-Coupling Reactions.

Herein, we report the first bench-stable and nonhygroscopic monosubstituted allenyl sulfonium salt (ATT) synthesized from thianthrene and propargyl alcohol. We demonstrate its use in annulation chemistry to synthesize heterocycles, such as 2-hydroxy morpholine, 2-methyl quinoxalines, and benzodioxepinone derivatives, with an exocyclic double bond. The reagent is the first allenyl sulfonium salt that can undergo palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions to form a C(sp)-C(sp) bond via Suzuki coupling and a C(sp)-C(sp) bond formation via reductive coupling.

Adverse drug reactions in drug resistant pulmonary tuberculosis patients.

This study is conducted from year 2019-2022 in Gujarat Cancer Society medical college and research center, Ahmedabad. Out of total 275 patients on drug resistant TB regimen (all oral longer, shorter injectable and mono H) seen in opd, 55 patients presented with adverse drug reaction. Objective: Varying levels of sex hormones across the menstrual cycle in young systemically healthy females may alter tissue responses to plaque, resulting in increased gingival inflammation. Also, higher severity and prevalence of gingivitis has been demonstrated in adult women than men, attributed to hormonal changes. Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) PET/CT is widely used in the evaluation of suspected metastasis for initial definitive therapy and suspected recurrence of prostate cancer. We outline a case report of a 62-year-old man with history of prostate cancer treated with surgery, salvage radiation, and hormonal therapy presenting with rising PSA levels. There was incidental detection of a PSMA-avid subcutaneous abdominal wall mass on PSMA PET/CT study, which was consistent with desmoid fibromatosis on an ultrasound-guided biopsy.
