The aim of study was identification of bone metastasis probability, in molecular subtypes among post-treated patients (hormone-receptor-positive breast cancer), considering statistical frequency of stages. 101 women (I, II, III stages; hormone-receptor-positive), who underwent bone scintigraphy before and after treatment, were retrospectively studied. The study was performed with radiotracer Tc99m MDP, intravenous injection.

The glycoprotein αβ heterodimer hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) and its β subunit (hCGβ) are produced by various cancers, and their increased serum levels correlate with poor prognosis. We have previously reported that patients with benign ovarian cysts, but not the malignant tumours, were characterized by augmented serum levels of naturally-occurring IgG antibodies to hCG and hCGβ.

The patient underwent surgery and the histology report demonstrated that the lesion was a follicular adenoma. Further investigations of the role of naturally-occurring autoantibodies (NAAbs) to anti-hCGβcf in the pathogenesis of various tumours of thyroid gland might be useful in the development of novel diagnostic methods, using anti-hCGβcf NAAbs as a marker for the detection of unsuspected thyroid tumour.

The black hens (n=5), 3-5 kg of body weight were used in experimental study. Hens were housed in standard laboratory conditions under 12-hr day-night cycles with provision of pelleted diet and water ad libitum.

The aim of the study was to compare the serum levels of interferon-gamma (INF-gamma) and neopterin (NPT) in 30 patients with AA and the control group (10 blood donors). We also investigated the difference between localized form of AA (I group), extensive form of AA (II group) and patients with family history of AA (III group).

Due to these properties NO becomes widespread treatment for pulmonary hypertension of different etiologies. However, during inhalation via inspiratory limb of breathing circuit NO reacts with oxygen, producing nitrogen dioxide (NO2) which is known to be a toxic agent.

MR tomography was used for investigation of 38 patients with renovascular hypertension (RVH) and 26 healthy persons. A possibility of the use and practical value of the method in the diagnosis and evaluation of renal function and renal arteries (RA) were under study. Some quantitative MRT indices were calculated both for the patients and healthy persons.

Impairments of CMD were related to AH duration, malignancy and to the severity of renal pathology. CMD was disturbed in all the patients with chronic renal insufficiency, renal artery occlusion, small kidney, and with combined vascular parenchymatous pathologies.

MR-tomography was used for investigation of 129 patients with various diseases of the kidneys, liver, pancreas, organs of the small pelvis, brain and spinal marrow. Possibilities of the use and practical value of new MRT methods--MR-urography and MR-myelography (MRu and MRm) were studied. They made it possible to detect within a short period of time (40-60 sec.

The findings were compared with those of the examination of healthy subjects and patients with benign hypertensive disease (BHD). As compared to the controls, all the MAH patients had changes in the target organs, however, their nature and magnitude varied with under underlying MAH disease.

MR-tomography was used for the investigation of 38 healthy persons aged 17 to 48 with normal BP values without any renal and adrenal pathology (kidneys were investigated in 25 persons, adrenal glands--in 16). A BMT-1100 MR-tomograph (Brucker, FRG) was used for investigation. The authors stress noninvasiveness of the new method and its practical value.
