Recent climate change should result in expansion of species to northern or high elevation range margins, and contraction at southern and low elevation margins in the northern hemisphere, because of local extirpations or range shifts or both. We combined museum occurrence records from both the continental U.S.

The unprecedented mononucleated ligand (6,6-di(1H-indol-3-yl)-N,N-bis(pyridin-2-ylmethyl)hexan-1-amine (L) with an N-donor set and its complexes [Zn(L)Cl] • 2CHOH (1) and [Zn(L)](ClO) (2), were successfully prepared. All compounds were fully characterized by a suite of physicochemical methods. Fluid H and C NMR spectroscopy, as well as DFT and TD-DFT calculations, were carried out to propose a viable structural arrangement for both complexes.

The mechanism and substrate specificity of alkanesulfonate monooxygenase (SsuD) was investigated by combining molecular dynamics simulations, docking, and a comprehensive quantitative structure activity relationships (QSAR) analysis. The FMNH(2) dependent monooxygenase undergoes a dynamic conformational change of the active site, passing from a closed to an open state. As a consequence, substrates have access to the active site and the cofactor is then regenerated by the associated oxidoreductase FMN reductase SsuE.

Unlabelled: The aim of this study was to evaluate the clinical efficacy of short and long-term treatment with famotidine 40 mg/daily at bed time in duodenal ulcer disease. 45 patients with endoscopically proven active duodenal ulcer undertaken the study. Endoscopic evaluations were performed at 6 weeks, 3 and 6 months from the start of the study.

The aim of the present work was to study gastric acid secretion in control subjects and in gastric and duodenal ulcer patients and to evaluate sex, age, body weight, blood group, cigarette smoking and the intake of H2-blockers in the 24 hours preceding gastric acid analysis. The results obtained seem to indicate that 6 micrograms/kg b.w.
